[origin: EP0440986A2] Espagnolette fastening for a door or window wing, the frame profile of which has a guide groove which opens towards the rebate face and is intended for the espagnolettes. The espagnolette fastening comprises a transmission housing (7) having a partially insertable housing part (7b) and a guide portion (7c). A coupling slide (19), which has at at least one end a coupling extension (21) for the coupling of an espagnolette (22), is mounted longitudinally slidably in the guide-housing part (7c). Rotatably mounted in the housing (7) is a driving pinion (13) which is rotatable by means of an actuating handle of the espagnolette fastening and which is in engagement with a toothing (17) of the coupling slide (19). <??>The driving pinion (13) is a stepped pinion, the large toothed ring (13a) of which is in engagement with the toothing (17) of the coupling slide (19), whilst the smaller toothed ring (13b) is in engagement via a transmission pinion (12) with an actuating pinion (11) rotatable by the actuating handle. <IMAGE>
