[origin: EP0441172A2] The invention relates to a boring ram with a pneumatically driven striking piston (16), movable in the axial direction in a reciprocating manner in a housing (12), and a control device which has a control part (22) movable with the striking piston and a control part (14) interacting with the control part (22) and held on the housing (12) and controls the admission of pressure to the striking piston.
