A blade-carrying shaft stripper is described in which the stripping webs (5) are manufactured from plastic and are injection-moulded integrally either with an upper housing part (7) or a lower housing part (8), support webs (6) being assigned to the stripping webs (5) and also being manufactured from plastic and being injection-moulded integrally with the lower housing part (8) or upper housing part (7) respectively lying opposite. In the upper housing part (7) and in the lower housing part (8), bearing surfaces (12) for the blade-carrying shafts (3) are additionally arranged and the stripping webs (5) and the support webs (6) are provided with support surfaces (9, 10) which in the mounted state of the cutting mechanism (2) rest against one another in such a way that the stripping webs (5) are supported. <??>The solution according to the invention has the advantage of low material costs and in particular also low assembly costs. <IMAGE>

Es wird eine Messerwellen-Abstreifvorrichtung beschrieben, bei der die Abstreifstege (5) aus Kunststoff hergestellt und einteilig entweder mit einem Gehäuseoberteil (7) oder einem Gehäuseunterteil (8) gespritzt sind, wobei den Abstreifstegen (5) Stützstege (6) zugeordnet sind, die gleichfalls aus Kunststoff hergestellt und einteilig mit dem jeweils gegenüberliegenden Gehäuseunterteil (8) oder Gehäuseoberteil (7) gespritzt sind. Im Gehäuseoberteil (7) und im Gehäuseunterteil (8) sind zusätzlich Lagerflächen (12) für die Messerwellen (3) angeordnet und die Abstreifstege (5) und die Stützstege (6) sind mit Stützflächen (9, 10) versehen, die im montierten Zustand des Schneidwerkes (2) aufeinanderliegen, derart, daß die Abstreifstege (5) abgestützt sind. Die erfindungsgemäße Lösung weist den Vorteil niedriger Material-und insbesondere auch Montagekosten auf. <IMAGE>
