A refrigerated vending cabinet is described which has a shelf structure and a lower merchandise space (3) which projects forwards relative to the shelf structure. The shelf structure consists essentially of display shelves (1, 2). A lighting device (5) is arranged at the front edge of the lower merchandise space (3). According to the invention, a transparent panel (7) is placed in one or more display shelves (1), through which panel light from the lighting device (5) enters the space above the display shelf (1). <IMAGE>

Es wird ein Verkaufskühlmöbel beschrieben, das einem Regalaufbau und einem unteren, vor den Regalaufbau vorgezogenen Warenraum (3) besitzt. Der Regalaufbau besteht im wesentlichen aus Auslageböden (1, 2). Am vorderen Rand des unteren Warenraumes (3) ist eine Beleuchtungsvorrichtung (5) angeordnet. Erfindungsgemäß ist in einen oder mehrere Auslageböden (1) eine lichtdurchlässige Scheibe (7) eingelegt, durch welche Licht von der Beleuchtungsvorrichtung (5) in den Raum oberhalb des Auslagebodens (1) fällt.
