Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0441692A1] During a first half of the frame time, the successive odd lines of the first part (10) of the screen are selected simultaneously with the successive even lines of the second part (12) of the screen. During a second half of the frame time, the successive even lines of the first part (10) of the screen are selected simultaneously with the successive odd lines of the second part (12). The information to be displayed during selection is contained in registers (72, 78). The information to be displayed during the following selection are recorded in buffer registers (70, 76) and originate from a source (22) for the odd lines and from a memory (62) for the even lines. This memory (62) records the data to be displayed on the even lines in step with their delivery by the source (22). <IMAGE>
