[origin: WO9103592A1] The cutting head (8) is arranged on the carriage (6) via a securing foot (10) and has a cutter (36) penetrating the moving material web (2). To prevent damage during malfunctions and to facilitate maintenance and adjustment work, the securing foot (10) is secured to the carriage (6) via a ratchet device (14). The retaining force of the ratchet device in the direction of travel of the web of material (2) substantially corresponds to the force of the permitted cutting resistance of the cutter (36) in the web (2) in such a way that the cutter is disengaged if the cutting resistance in the web (2) is not the permitted value.

La tête de coupe (8) est disposée sur un support (6) au moyen d'un pied de fixation (10) et présente un élément de coupe (36) plongeant dans la bande de matière défilante (2). Pour éviter des endommagements lors d'un mauvais fonctionnement et pour faciliter les travaux de maintenance et de réglage, le pied de fixation (10) est fixé sur le support (6) au moyen d'un dispositif à crans (14). La force de rétention du dispositif à crans dans le sens du défilement de la bande de matière (2) correspond essentiellement à la force de la résistance à la coupe, conforme à la définition, de l'élément de coupe (36) dans la bande de matière (2), et ceci de telle sorte que l'élément de coupe se dégage dans le cas d'une résistance à la coupe non conforme à la définition dans la bande de matière (2).
