A method for the chaotic intermediate storage of reels (6) and a storing and clearing-out device for carrying out this method are characterised in that a plurality of load-receiving means (19, 20, 77, 78, 79, 80, 81) raisable and lowerable independently of one another are provided on a crane device, and by means of which reels (6) can be removed in succession from the entry point and/or received in succession from the storage point and transported jointly to the exit point. The throughput capacity is increased substantially thereby in comparison with known methods of this kind. <IMAGE>

Ein Verfahren zum chaotischen Zwischenlagern von Wickelkörpern (6) und eine Ein- und Auslagerungsvorrichtung zur Durchführung dieses Verfahrens sind dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß mehrere, unabhängig voneinander heb- und senkbare Lastaufnahmemittel (19, 2Ø, 77, 78, 79, 8Ø, 81) an einer Kranvorrichtung vorgesehen sind, mit denen Wickelkörper (6) vom Eingangsort nacheinander abgelagert und/oder vom Lagerort nacheinander aufgenommen und gemeinsam zum Ausgangsort transportiert werden können. Hierdurch wird die Durchsatzleistung gegenüber bekannten Verfahren dieser Art wesentlich gesteigert. <IMAGE>
