In the vessel (1) which serves for holding hot drinks, in particular coffee or tea, a pouring spout (8) is constructed on the rim (4) on the upper side (3) of said vessel, which pouring spout can be covered, together with the upper side (3) of the vessel (1), by a lid (9). In the horizontal position of the vessel (1), the upper side (3) is covered in the region of the pouring spout (8) by a flap (15) which is movable about an axis of rotation (27). When the vessel (1) is tilted, the flap (15) is lifted from the pouring spout (8) from its horizontal position into its pouring position under the effect of gravity and/or by forces exerted by the drink itself. <IMAGE>

Bei der Kanne (1), die zum Aufbewahren von heißen Getränken, insbesondere von Kaffee oder Tee, dient, ist an deren Oberseite (3) am Rand (4) eine Ausgießzotte (8) ausgebildet, die zusammen mit der Oberseite (3) der Kanne (1) durch einen Deckel (9) abdeckbar ist. In horizontaler Lage der Kanne (1) ist die Oberseite (3) im Bereich der Ausgießzotte (8) durch eine um eine Drehachse (27) bewegliche Klappe (15) abgedeckt. Die Klappe (15) wird beim Schwenken der Kanne (1) aus ihrer horizontalen Lage in ihre Ausgießstellung unter der Wirkung der Schwerkraft und/oder durch vom Getränk selbst ausgeübte Kräfte von der Ausgießzotte (8) abgehoben. <IMAGE>
