[origin: EP0442278A1] The invention relates to a device for dry and wet therapy of disorders, in particular in dermatology and paronychia, using ultrasound. The device consists of an electronics part (1) for control purposes with an attached ultrasonic transducer (2), at least one transducer being arranged in a pot-shaped manual transducer housing (3) on which on the one hand a preferably adjustable hand grip (9) and on the other hand a membrane (6) in front of the transducer is arranged with a water-tight housing connection, followed by a second membrane (7) which surrounds a liquid or water cushion (8) and through which the acoustic oscillations can be transmitted upon application to the treatment area, for use in the frequency range between 30 and 80 kHz, in particular at 50 kHz.
