[origin: EP0442284A2] A side connection plate (20) is attached to the cover (14) of the underside of an electric cooking plate (11) by rivetting or the like. A bushing piece (25) or a different functional part is inserted into openings (26, 27) of the cover (14) and side connection plate (20) such that it is supported by projections (32, 35), which are suitably offset laterally with respect to one another, in each case on one of the two plate parts in a positively locking manner, so that it also is attached when the two parts are connected. With these parts it forms an installation assembly, which is suitable for automatic cooking plate assembly. <IMAGE>
