[origin: EP0442375A1] In order to monitor the removal of drinks from dispensing connections of various supply stations or the like, in particular in public houses, the invention proposes a method in which an authorised person has to identify himself by a code, and in which upon dispensing of a drink without inputting of the code an alarm signal occurs, the alarm signal not being terminated until the code has been carried out and the drinking liquid removed is assigned to the code used to clear the alarm. It is provided for carrying out the method that at least one identification device (8) assigned to a dispensing connection (3, 22, 31) of a reference station (1, 20, 30, 40) is connected to at least one removal detector (6) in such a way that they trigger an alarm signal when upon addressing the removal detector (6) the identification device (8) is not activated and the alarm signal can be terminated by activating the identification device (8), and that a removal counter is connected to the removal detector (6) in such a way that removal of a drink before activation of the identification device (8) can be assigned to the code activating the identification device. <IMAGE>
