Abstract (en)
The invention relates to a pallet for transporting glass panels stacked horizontally, in particular glass panels for motor vehicles, which has a carrier tray, four vertical pillars at the corners and at least one pressing device constituted by a substantially horizontal rigid arm (20) capable of sliding at one end on a vertical upright (21) and then of being locked there in a chosen position, and provided at its other end with a member (33,34) acting from above on the stack of glass panels in order to hold this stack against the tray. This pallet is suitable for the transport of flat glass panels and also for the transport of curved glass panels, whether or not the latter carry frames, frame elements or special accessories. <IMAGE>

L'invention a trait a une palette de transport de vitrages empilés horizontalement, en particulier des vitrages automobiles, qui possède un plateau porteur, quatre poteaux verticaux dans les angles et au moins un dispositif presseur constitué d'un bras rigide (20) substantiellement horizontal, apte à coulisser à une extrémité sur un montant vertical (21) pour y être bloqué dans une position choisie, et muni à son autre extrémité d'un organe (33, 34) agissant d'en haut sur la pile de vitrages pour maintenir celle-ci contre le plateau. Cette palette se prête au transport de vitrages plans aussi bien que de vitrages bombés, que ceux-ci soient ou non porteurs de cadres, éléments de cadre ou accessoires particuliers. <IMAGE>
