[origin: EP0442780A1] The invention relates to a pallet for transporting glass panels stacked horizontally, in particular glass panels for motor vehicles, which has a carrier tray, four vertical pillars at the corners and at least one pressing device constituted by a substantially horizontal rigid arm (20) capable of sliding at one end on a vertical upright (21) and then of being locked there in a chosen position, and provided at its other end with a member (33,34) acting from above on the stack of glass panels in order to hold this stack against the tray. This pallet is suitable for the transport of flat glass panels and also for the transport of curved glass panels, whether or not the latter carry frames, frame elements or special accessories. <IMAGE>
