[origin: WO8912710A1] The aim of the frame is to ensure uniform distribution of the pressure over the whole clamped surface between the inner and outer rings. To this end, the shape of the section of the inner ring (1) in the section between the two axes (S1, S2) is such that the flexural resistance over the whole periphery of the inner ring (1) is approximately constant and the resistance to stretching between the two axes (S1, S2) is continuously reduced, reaching a minimum in the region of the smallest radius of curvature (Rmin). The shape of the section of the outer ring (3) in the section between the axes (S1, S2) is such that the resistance to stretching between the axes (S1, S2) varies inversely as that of the inner ring (1). The frame is used to tauten the material to be embroidered by hand machine embroidery.

Ce tambour a pour but d'obtenir une distribution égale de la pression sur toute la surface par serrage entre le cadre intérieur et le cadre extérieur. A cet effet, la forme de la section du cadre intérieur (1), dans la portion entre les deux axes (S1, S2), est telle que la résistance à la flexion sur tout le pourtour de ce cadre (1) est approximativement constante et que la résistance à l'allongement entre ces deux axes (S1, S2) est continuellement diminuée de façon à atteindre un minimum dans la région du plus petit rayon de courbure (Rmin). La forme de la section du cadre extérieur (3), dans la portion entre les axes (S1, S2), est telle que la résistance à l'allongement entre les axes (S1, S2) varie en sens inverse de celle du cadre intérieur (1). Le tambour est destiné à serrer la matière à broder. Il est utilisable dans le brodage manuel et dans le brodage à la machine.
