Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0443050A2] An assembly serves for operation of a damper door, in particular an air hole damper door or dome, which can be pivoted about a fixed first rotation axis (2) from a closed position into an alarm position and back again, with at least one linear drive element. At its end a first traverse part (1) of the damper door is fitted pivotably at a point on the damper door remote from the rotation axis (2), whilst its second end is fitted pivotably about a first pivot axis (11) on a supporting lever (12), which in turn can pivot about a fixed second pivot axis (13) close to the rotation axis of the damper door. In order to achieve a large opening angle of the damper door with only the single linear drive element, a supplementary deflection lever (15) is fitted with a first end pivotably on the first pivot axis (11) of the door. The second end of the deflection lever engages pivotably on the traverse part (1) of the damper door at a distance from its rotation axis (2) and from the fixing point (7a) of the first end of the drive element. <IMAGE>
