Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0443176A1] When a wing (1) is composed of plastic or aluminium sectional bars or at least its lower end consists of such a sectional bar and there is mounted so as to rest on it a fitting part carrying at least one running roller (6), by means of which it can be displaced along a fixed running rail (7), this leads to a lateral offset of the support point of the wing (1) relative to the vertical plane with the centre of gravity of the element. This gives rise, solely as a result of the weight of the wing (1), to forces which may warp or twist the lower transverse spar (4). So that the functional capacity of the fitting part (5) can nevertheless be guaranteed, according to the invention a reinforcing plate (14) is attached, for example screwed, to the underside of the lower wing transverse spar (4). The fitting part (5) is screwed at least partially to this reinforcing plate (14). Because the latter is located immediately behind the wing overlap (12) subjectable to comparatively little load, the reinforcing plate ensures not only in general a reinforcement of the profile cross-section, but also a firm support of the wing overlap. <IMAGE>
