[origin: DE4005529A1] The applicator head (1) with a liq. discharge nozzle (2), suitable for connection to a container fitted pump (25), has a base (3) with a flange (4) carrying a tapered shell (5) with an integral, internal sleeve (7) open at the bottom and a nozzle opening (9) at the top. Inside the sleeve is fitted an insert (12) with a top part (15) with a tip (11) shaped to give a swirling action and a base part (16) into which fits the top part (35) of a piston (17) forming part of the inner pump. The insert incorporates a system of recesses (30, 31) between the piston and nozzle opening.
