[origin: EP0443365A2] In cigarette packs with a hinged lid there is the problem of the contents of the package (cigarette block 29) often having a smaller depth than the interior of the package. The cigarette block (29) therefore has to be supported by a filling piece. <??>A support body (31) is provided as filling piece which is formed by appropriate folding of a front wall (25) of a collar (24) arranged in the package. An upper region of the front wall (25) of the collar is set back inwards in such a way that a support wall (32) rests on the (smaller) cigarette block (29). <??>Side flaps (26, 27) of the collar connected to the front wall (25) of the collar extend over the full depth of the interior of the package and are connected to the support wall (32) via webs (37, 38) folded in parallel. <IMAGE>
