[origin: EP0443433A1] The invention relates to a facade covering having panel-like covering elements (1) which comprise a panel base (2) and edge-pieces which are bent off at least on vertically running edges, the vertically running edge-pieces (3,3a) having mutually spaced clinching devices for suspending the covering elements (1) in holding devices, corresponding to the clinching devices, of the supporting structure. The present invention provides such a facade covering which is improved in comparison with known facade coverings of this type. The solution according to the invention is characterised in that the clinching device is formed by clinching webs, provided on the edge-pieces and extending at a distance from the panel base (2) and substantially parallel thereto, and the receiving devices are formed by clinching brackets (6), projecting from carrying elements of the supporting structure and having slits for the engagement of the clinching tabs. <IMAGE>
