Abstract (en)
In order to protect the region of the filling opening of an upper end 2 of a container 1 from forceful jolts which deform the region of the filling opening of the upper end and thus impair the seal of the inserted closure 5, the closure is fitted with a sturdy impact ring 11 which overlaps the surrounding area of the upper end 2. To achieve a good capability of absorbing the jolts, the impact ring, which may also be formed from rungs, is constructed to have an increasing thickness approximately in the radial direction towards it base and, in the region directly enclosing the filling opening, the impact ring 11 otherwise resting on the upper end 2 is guided above the upper end, providing an annular cavity 12, in such a way that it only rests on said upper end after absorbing some shock effects. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Um den Füllöffnungsbereich eines Oberbodens 2 eines Behälters 1 vor starken, den Füllöffnungsbereich des Oberbodens verformenden und damit die Dichtung des eingesetzten Verschlusses 5 beeinträchtigenden Stößen zu schützen, wird der Verschluß mit einem den Umgebungsbereich des Oberbodens 2 übergreifenden stabilen Prallring 11 versehen. Zur Erzielung einer starken Fähigkeit des Resorbierens der Stöße wird der gegebenenfalls auch aus Sprossen gebildete Prallring in etwa radialer Richtung auf seine Basis zu mit ansteigender Stärke ausgeführt, und im direkt die Füllöffnung umgrenzenden Bereich wird der im übrigen auf dem Oberboden 2 aufliegende Prallring 11 unter Schaffung eines ringförmigen Freiraumes 12 so oberhalb des Oberbodens geführt, daß ein Auflegen erst nach der Übernahme von Schockanteilen eintritt. <IMAGE>
