[origin: WO9005468A1] A hair curler (1) has an essentially cylindrical winding body (3), preferably a hollow cylinder, possibly provided with perforations (2), with flanges (4) in the region of both ends. Regularly spaced holes (5) which run parallel to the axis of the winding body (3) are provided on the flanges (4). The holes (5) of the two flanges (4) are mutually coaxial and at least one rod (6) can be inserted into the holes. To allow strands of hair to be wound in sections in alternating winding directions on the winding body, the holes (5) extend to the outer circumference of the winding body (3) and are open-edged in the region of the outer surface shell of the flange (4). The open width of these openings (7) is slightly less than the diameter of the holes (5), which is equal to the diameter of the rods (6).

Un bigoudi (1) comporte un élément d'enroulement sensiblement cylindrique, de préférence un cylindre creux, éventuellement pourvu de perforations (2), avec des rebords (4) dans la région des deux extrémités. Des trous (5) régulièrement espacés qui s'étendent parallèlement à l'axe de l'élément d'enroulement (3) sont ménagés sur les rebords (4). Les trous (5) des deux rebords (4) sont mutuellement coaxiaux et au moins une tige (6) peut y être introduite. Pour permettre l'enroulement de mèches de cheveux par section dans des sens d'enroulement alternés sur l'élément d'enroulement, les trous (5) s'étendent jusqu'à la circonférence extérieure de l'élément d'enroulement (3) et sont à bord ouvert dans la région de l'enveloppe extérieure du rebord (4). Le diamètre intérieur de ces ouvertures (7) est légèrement inférieur au diamètre des trous (5), lequel est égal au diamètre des tiges (6).
