[origin: EP0444267A2] Liquid foaming detergent which is composed of 3 to 40 percent by weight of alkyl polyglycoside, 0 to 30 percent by weight of solubiliser, 0 to 10 percent by weight of electrolyte, 0 to 3 percent by weight of additives and water ad 100 percent by weight where the alkyl polyglycoside which is exclusively used as cleaning surfactant corresponds to the formula R-O-Zn with R = alkyl radical with 10 to 18 C atoms, Zn is a polyglycosyl radical with n = 1 to 3 hexose or pentose units or mixtures thereof. This detergent is distinguished by good cleansing power and is substantially biodegradable and thus environmentally compatible. It can be used as manual dishwashing composition.
