Flap-type face-grinding or cut-off wheel with a circular base plate (1), to the end face of which abrasive laminae (2), overlapping one another in an imbricated manner, are fastened in a peripheral zone by adhesive in such a way that they project beyond the margin of the base plate (1) to such an extent that only a third to a half of the extent of the abrasive laminae (2) are fastened by adhesive in the peripheral zone of the base plate, and an annular layer (3) of hardened synthetic polymers in which abrasive grains are embedded is present at the outer margin of the base plate (1), which annular layer (3) is firmly connected to the base plate (1) and the abrasive laminae (3). <IMAGE>

Fächerstirnschleifscheibe oder -trennscheibe mit einem kreisförmigen Grundteller (1), auf dessen Stirnseite in einer Umfangszone Schleiflamellen (2) einander dachziegelartig übergreifend so mit Klebstoff befestigt sind, daß sie über den Rand des Grundtellers (1) soweit hinausragen, daß nur ein Drittel bis zur Hälfte der Ausdehnung der Schleiflamellen (2) in der Umfangszone des Grundtellers mit Klebstoff befestigt sind und am Außenrand des Grundtellers (1) eine mit dem Grundteller (1) und den Schleiflamellen (2) fest verbundene ringförmige Schicht (3) aus gehärteten synthetischen Polymeren, in die Schleifkörner eingebettet sind, vorhanden ist. <IMAGE>
