What is proposed is a remote-control system for locks, for the infrared hand transmitter of which, used per se for the remote control of the central locking system of a motor vehicle, a receptacle for the insertion of the transmitter is arranged in the motor vehicle, whilst, according to the invention, at least one optical cable exiting in the region of the receptacle and intended for signals from the transmitter is laid, starting from the receptacle, to at least one outlet located on the outer skin of the motor vehicle. This allows the control of a receiver arranged outside the motor vehicle and belonging especially to a remote-controllable garage-door drive. <IMAGE>

Es wird ein Fernbedienungssystem für Verschlüsse vorgeschlagen, für dessen Infrarot-Handsender (4) - der an sich zur Fernbedienung der Zentralverriegelung eines kraftfahrzeugs verwendet wird - im Kraftfahrzeug eine Aufnahme (6) zum Einstecken des Senders angeordnet ist, wobei wenigstens ein im Bereich der Aufnahme mündendes Lichtleitkabel (7) für Signale des Senders von der Aufnahme ausgehend erfindungsgemäß zu wenigstens einer an der Außenhaut des Kraftfahrzeugs angeordneten Ausmündung (8) verlegt ist. Dadurch wird die Steuerung eines außerhalb des kraftfahrzeugs angeordneten Empfängers (9), der insbesondere zu einem fernbedienbaren Garagentorantrieb gehört, ermöglicht. <IMAGE>
