A process for strengthening and/or twisting a low-strength roving wound with low yarn tension on a bobbin tube to form a yarn roll is characterised in that (a) the yarn roll is inserted together with the bobbin tube into a spindle pot (b) the spindle pot is set in rotation (c) the bobbin tube is subsequently drawn out of the yarn roll, and then (d) the roving is drawn off from the inner cylindrical surface of the yarn roll and wound to form a bobbin or twist bobbin. <IMAGE>

Ein Verfahren zum Verfestigen und/oder Zwirnen eines mit geringer Fadenspannung auf einer Spulenhülse zu einem Garnwickelkörper aufgewickelten Vorgarnes geringer Festigkeit ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man (a) den Garnwickelkörper (4) mit der Spulenhülse (3) in einen Spindeltopf (6, 11) einsetzt, (b) den Spindeltopf (6, 11) in Rotation versetzt, (c) anschließend die Spulenhülse (3) aus dem Garnwickelkörper (4) herauszieht und dann, (d) das Vorgarn (2) von der Innenmantelfläche (4') des Garnwickelkörpers (4) abzieht und zu einer Spule oder Zwirnspule (7) aufwickelt. <IMAGE>
