[origin: EP0444432A1] The invention relates to a rotor for impact or hammer mills, whose rotor discs 1 are made of cast steel and have widened roots 3 which according to the invention are welded to one another at their outer edges. Before the welding process, the rotor discs are joined centred by means of fitted bolts 10 provided in the roots 3.
