Abstract (en)
In order to treat the bristles of brushes, the bristles are tensioned at a distance from their active ends cut to the desired length at these ends and subsequently processed by means of a plane abrasive surface arranged perpendicularly to the extent of the bristles, all the points of which abrasive surface are moved on circular paths of the same diameter. In order to set the contact pressure, the abrasive surface is moved towards the bristles, and in order to influence the result of processing the bristles are laterally supported between their tensioning point and their active ends at a distance from the abrasive surface which is variable but is always identical for all bristles.

Zum Bearbeiten der Borsten von Bürsten werden die Borsten mit Abstand von den nutzungsseitigen Enden eingespannt, an diesen auf Wunschmaß geschnitten und anschließend mittels einer zur Borstenerstreckung senkrecht angeordneten, ebenen Schleiffläche, deren sämtliche Punkte auf Kreisbahnen gleichen Durchmessers bewegt werden, bearbeitet. Zur Einstellung des Andrucks wird die Schleiffläche in Richtung auf die Borsten zugestellt und zur Beeinflussung des Bearbeitungsergebnisses werden die Borsten zwischen ihrer Einspannung und ihren nutzungsseitigen Enden in veränderbarem, für alle Borsten jedoch stets gleichem Abstand von der Schleiffläche seitlich abgestützt.
