A tool for closing sealing caps for the secure closure of drums, having concentrically arranged rocking levers which are aligned substantially parallel to the actuating axis and which are acted upon during axial movement of a conical actuating surface in such a way that their working ends are compressed radially against spring force acting in a spreading manner, is characterised in that the actuating surface is arranged on a cone (11) which tapers in the actuating direction (17) and slides on the inside of actuating ends (9) of the levers (6), which are supported between actuating end (9) and working end (8) externally against a stationary housing (14) annularly surrounding the levers and are fixed relative to said housing in the direction of the axis (12). <IMAGE>

Ein Werkzeug zum Verschließen von Siegelkappen für den Sicherheitsverschluß von Fässern, mit konzentrisch angeordneten, im wesentlichen parallel zur Betätigungsachse ausgerichteten Kipphebeln, die bei axialer Bewegung einer konischen Betätigungsfläche derart beaufschlagt werden, daß ihre Arbeitsenden entgegen spreizend wirkender Federkraft radial zusammengedrückt werden, ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Betätigungsfläche auf einem sich in Betätigungsrichtung (17) verjüngenden Konus (11) angeordnet ist, der auf der Innenseite von Betätigungsenden (9) der Hebel (6) gleitet, die zwischen Betätigungsende (9) und Arbeitsende (8) außen gegen ein ringförmig die Hebel umgebendes stationäres Gehäuse (14) abgestützt und diesem gegenüber in Richtung der Achse (12) fixiert sind. <IMAGE>
