[origin: EP0445054A1] Lightning arrestor device for protection of electric lines, in particular, medium-voltage overhead lines, of the kind comprising a stack which is formed by varistors (1) and end electrodes (2) maintained under axial pressure, and which is arranged inside a sealed protective envelope (3), characterised in that between the elements constituting the stack (1-2) there is provided an insertion piece (4, 40) exhibiting elastic deformability to crushing thus maintaining the quality of the electrical connection between the adjacent elements whilst affording free zones able to receive the layer of adhesive (5, 50, 30) required for the mechanical assembly of said elements. <IMAGE>
