Abstract (en)
A burner, especially a forced-draught burner, for boilers, incineration plants or the like is proposed which is provided with an air feed device, a fuel feed device (15) for injecting a liquid or gaseous fuel, a flame device (14) extending into a combustion chamber (11) and producing the burner flame (18) and a flue gas recirculation channel (20) which recirculates some of the flue gases produced during the incineration to the air feed device. Provided in the boiler-side connection region of the flue gas recirculation channel (20) is a converter element (21) which converts solid particles into gaseous constituents and is preferably composed of a porous ceramic material. As a result of the position of the converter element (21) it is heated by the hot flue gases to a temperature of 400-600 DEG C, with the result that the soot and dust particles in the flue gas are burnt and are carried off as gaseous constituents. This prevents contamination of the burner (13), accompanied by maintenance-free operation of the converter element (21). <IMAGE>

Es wird ein Brenner, insbesondere ein Gebläsebrenner für Heizkessel, Verbrennungsanlagen od.dgl., vorgeschlagen, der mit einer Luftzuführungseinrichtung, einer flüssigen oder gasförmigen Brennstoff einleitenden Brennstoffzuführungseinrichtung (15), einer in einem Brennraum (11) eintauchenden, die Brennerflamme (18) bildenden Flammvorrichtung (14) und einem einen Teil der bei der Verbrennung gebildeten Abgase zur Luftzuführungseinrichtung rückführenden Abgasrückführungskanal (20) versehen ist. Im heizkesselseitigen Anschlußbereich des Abgasrückführungskanals (20) ist ein Festpartikel in gasförmige Bestandteile umwandelndes Konverterelement (21) vorgesehen, das vorzugsweise aus einem porösen Keramikmaterial besteht. Durch die Position des Konverterelements (21) wird dieses durch die heißen Abgase auf eine Temperatur von 400 - 600<o> C erhitzt, so daß im Abgas enthaltene Ruß- und Staubpartikel verbrennen und als gasförmige Bestandteile weitergeleitet werden. Hierdurch wird bei wartungsfreiem Betrieb des Konverterelements (21) ein Verschmutzen des Brenners (13) verhindert. <IMAGE>
