For an installation which can also be carried out at a later date on already existing doors of this type, in which, for example, the pivot bearings (6) can be changed only with great difficulty, if at all, the actuating member is a tension- and pressure-resistant bar (4) which is deflectable or flexible transversely to its longitudinal extension and which is fastened at one end (5) to a fixed part behind the door (1) at a distance from the axis (A) of the pivot mounting (6) of the door (1). The bar (4) extends transversely relative to the orientation of the pivot axis (A) of the door (1) and, as a result of the pivoting of the door (1), is itself deflectable approximately in the same direction as the door (1), its free end (9) opposite the fastening end (5) lagging in relation to the door (1), that is to say executing a relative displacement movement which, during the closing of the door, takes place in the opposite direction and can therefore be utilised for carrying out switching operations.
