The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for supplying liquid treating agent to running yarns 2 at work stations of a spinning machine, especially a draw-twisting, draw-winding or twist-winding machine 1 or a texturing machine, the treating agent 11 being conveyed under pressure from a vessel to the work stations. The pressure for this is obtained by means of a gas-pressure cushion which acts on the treating agent 11 located in the pressure-tight vessel.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zum Zuführen von flüssigem Präparationsmittel zu laufenden Fäden 2 an Arbeitsstellen einer Spinnereimaschine, insbesondere einer Streckzwirn-, Streckspul- oder Zwirn-Spulmaschine 1 oder einer Texturiermaschine, wobei das Präparationsmittel 11 unter Druck aus einem Behälter zu den Arbeitsstellen gefördert wird. Hierbei wird der Druck durch ein Gasdruckpolster erzielt, welches auf das in dem druckdicht ausgeführten Behälter befindliche Präparationsmittel 11 wirkt.
