For this purpose, the on/off switch (37), which is conventionally located in the handle (7), is moved to the housing (2) opposite the handle and is connected via a linkage (34) to a pawl (26) in the handle (7). This has the advantage that there are no longer any electrical components accommodated inside the handle (7). The pawl (26) is inserted, ready assembled together with a frame (18), into the handle (7), which is then screwed to the housing (2) of the hammer (1). All electrical and electronic components, such as motor (3), switch (37) and mains cable (38), are accommodated in the housing (2).
