[origin: EP0446150A1] The unweaving device, employing pneumatic means for eliminating a defective pick (28), comprises essentially: - an air injector (23) for "detaching" the defective pick, removing the latter from the pick previously inserted, - nozzles (24) for discharging the defective pick, emitting air jets (30) oriented towards the "feed" side of the loom, - optical means (27) for checking the proper discharge of the defective pick, and - control means taking effect in the event of a fault in order to activate the pneumatic means and then restart the loom. <??>The invention is used particularly on a loom having grippers (1, 3) mounted at the end of bands (2, 4). <IMAGE>
