[origin: JPH04220593A] PURPOSE: To fix an ornamental element, especially a proper element to conceal the attachment of a wrist watch band to a case of a wrist watch, in the case of the wrist watch. CONSTITUTION: A part of a rim 1 positioned between flanges 2 is formed between the outside faces and at the same time has an arc-like gap 3 concentric with the circle of a watch case. Close to the watch glass 5, another arc-like gap 4 is formed in the surface of the rim 1 and extended in both sides of the gap 3 at a predetermined angle. The ends of the second gap 4 are positioned at a predetermined distance from the outer end of the rim 1 and two holding holes 4a are formed. The gaps 3, 4 accomodate an ornamental element 6 and the upper side of the ornamental element 6 is close to the lower side of the watch glass 5, so that the watch glass is prevented from coming out and dropping through the gap 4.

La partie de la carrure (1) située entre les cornes (2) présente un dégagement en arc de cercle (3) ménagé dans la face latérale externe et concentrique au centre de la boîte. Un autre dégagement (4) également en arc de cercle est ménagé sur la face de la carrure (1) adjacente à la lunette (5) et s'étend angulairement au-delà du premier dégagement (3) et de part et d'autre de celui-ci. Le bord de ce second dégagement (4) se situe à distance du bord externe de la carrure (1) ménageant ainsi deux oreilles de retenue (4a). Ces dégagements (3, 4) reçoivent un élément décoratif (6) dont la face supérieure est adjacente à la face inférieure de la lunette (5) qui l'empêche de ressortir du dégagement (4). <IMAGE>
