In order to design as compactly as possible a device for combustion of impurities contained in a media flow and thus to be able to manufacture and operate it economically also, it is proposed to introduce, by means of a conveying device consisting of a radial blower (5), the media flow into the device formed from a cylindrical container (1), the radial blower (5) being arranged concentrically on a front inner side of the container (1), which side lies opposite a front inner side of the container (1) equipped with a burner (14).

Um eine Vorrichtung zum Verbrennen von in einem Medienstrom enthaltenen Störstoffen möglichst kompakt zu gestalten und dadurch auch kostengünstig herstellen und betreiben zu können, wird vorgeshlagen, den Medienstrom mittels einer aus einem Radialgebläse (5) bestehenden Fördereinrichtung in die aus einem zylindrischen Behälter (1) gebildete Vorrichtung einzubringen, wobei das Radialgebläse (5) konzentrisch auf einer Stirninnenseite des Behälters (1) angeordnet ist, die einer mit einem Brenner (14) bestückten Stirninnenseite des Behälters (1) gegenüberliegt. <IMAGE>
