Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0446601A1] In order to provide a shaped article from at least one material blank (10), having receiving compartments (16, 17) which are formed by the construction of longitudinal webs (11, 12, 13) and transverse webs (14, 15) and are open at the top, in particular for confectionary, such as chocolates or the like, in such a way that it can be produced from an environmentally friendly material which does not entail the disadvantages of plastic sheets but at the same time fulfils the requirements to be placed thereon for sorting purposes since the construction of suitable receiving compartments must be guaranteed without large material expenditure, and which allows the use of a material which does not display reciprocal reactions with the stored confectionary, it is proposed that longitudinal webs (11, 12, 13), having a longitudinal web spacing (B) or a longitudinal web angle (delta), be formed in a base blank (20) by folding in each case over at least two longitudinal folding lines (21, 23, 24, 26, 27, 29) relative to one another, that transverse webs (14, 15), having a transverse web spacing (D) or a transverse web angle (gamma), be formed in a top blank (40) by folding in each case over at least two transverse folding lines (41, 43, 44, 46) relative to one another, and that incisions (60-65) for penetration of the longitudinal webs, having a right angle with the transverse webs (14, 15) and/or running parallel to the longitudinal webs, are formed in the top blank (40), the top blank (40) being placed on the base blank (20) with the incisions being penetrated by the longitudinal webs of the base blank. <IMAGE>
