[origin: EP0446739A1] In order to provide a showcase for insertion of transparent advertising posters, having a frame, and having a transparent filling arranged on at least one long side, behind which the posters are arranged, lighting means arranged at a distance apart being installed within the showcase and a diffusing disc being mounted between the lighting means and the information carriers, in which showcase a better distribution of light is achieved, it is proposed that the diffusing disc (6) has zones (7) of differing transparency to light, that the regions (8) of the diffusion disc which lie orthogonally opposite the lighting means (5) have the lowest transparency to light, and, accordingly, the transparency to light increases with decreasing luminous intensity and increasing distance from the lighting means (5). <IMAGE>
