Abstract (en)
[origin: JPH04242557A] PURPOSE: To provide a box having an articulated lid which can be made of a relatively rigid material without requiring a high mechanical resistance in a hinge region. CONSTITUTION: A hinge is constituted of a flat tenon which is integrally formed with one part and engaged with a groove 4 arranged in the other part. The tenon is provided with a pin 5 arranged in the groove in a lateral direction and cooperating with a depression 6 opened toward an inner side of a box. This box can be applied to various kinds of items such as a lighter, a flash light, a spray, an accent light and an odor tube or the like.
