[origin: EP0447329A1] Plastic tray cover (1), constituted by a central panel (10) and a peripheral U-shaped rim (11), defining two branches (12, 13) connected by a portion (14), intended to be fitted to the corresponding rim of the tray, characterised: - in that the connecting portion (14) has a split (16) which extends substantially over all of the periphery of the rim (14), thus defining two lips (17, 18) facing each other; - and in that this split (16) has: &cirf& on either side, portions (20-25) which can be cut and which connect the two lips (17, 18); &cirf& on one side (26), a grasping lug (30) integral with the lip (17); &cirf& on the opposite side (31), two portions (32, 33), connecting the two lips (17, 18) of the split (16) in order to thus form a hinge. <IMAGE>
