Abstract (en)

A data bus connection (11) for data processing installations has a screened, coaxial connector, preferably one having two internal conductors (25, 50), in the case of which a contact is operated when the plug is connected, which contact short-circuits the two inner conductors (25, 50) to one another when the connection is decoupled. In the case of the embodiment, a resistor can also be connected between the internal conductors (25, 50) and the screen (15). In this way, when an apparatus is uncoupled, the data cable is either provided with a terminating resistor or is looped through. <IMAGE>

Ein Datenbusanschluß (11) für Datenverarbeitungsanlagen weist einen abgeschirmten, koaxialen Stecker auf, vorzugsweise einen mit zwei Innenleitern (25, 50), bei denen durch das Zusammenstecken ein Kontakt betätigt wird, der die beiden Innenleiter (25, 50) miteinander kurzschließt, wenn der Anschluß entkuppelt ist. Bei der Ausführung kann auch ein Widerstand zwischen die Innenleiter (25, 50) und die Abschirmung (15) geschaltet werden. Damit wird die Datenleitung beim Abkuppeln eines Gerätes entweder mit einem Abschlußwiderstand versehen oder durchgeschleift. <IMAGE>
