The invention relates to a whirlpool tub having a flow-off device with a pipeline system which is intended for loading at least one nozzle opening into the tub interior with water and/or air and is equipped with a circulating pump and which is connected in flow terms to a flow-off orifice (12), provided in the tub bottom (1) or a tub side wall, via a junction valve (20) and a junction chamber (15), a flow-off connection piece (16), equipped with a flow-off valve (18) and opening into the flow-off line (17), projecting into the junction chamber (15), and the flow-off valve (18) taking effect between the flow-off connection piece (16) and the junction-chamber wall (14). The invention is characterised in that the junction valve (20) has a valve body (11) which is guided at the flow-off connection piece (16) and which is pressed in the direction of its sealing seat under the effect of a closing spring (3), and in that the sealing seat is formed by valve-seat faces (4, 5), narrowing conically in the closing direction, of the junction-chamber wall (14) and of the flow-off connection piece (16). <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Whirlpoolwanne mit einer Abflußeinrichtung mit einem für die Beaufschlagung wenigstens einer in das Wanneninnere mündenden Düse mit Wasser und/oder Luft bestimmten, mit einer Umwälzpumpe ausgestatteten Rohrleitungssystem, welches mit einer im Wannenboden (1) oder einer Wannenseitenwand vorgesehenen Abflußöffnung (12) über ein Anschlußventil (20) und eine Anschlußkammer (15) in Strömungsverbindung steht, wobei in die Anschlußkammer (15) ein mit einem Abflußventil (18) ausgestatteter und in die Abflußleitung (17) mündender Abflußstutzen (16) hineinragt und wobei das Abflußventil (18) zwischen dem Abflußstutzen (16) und der Anschlußkammerwandung (14) wirksam ist. Die Erfindung zeichnet sich dadurch aus, daß das Anschlußventil (20) einen an dem Abflußstutzen (16) geführten Ventilkörper (11) aufweist, welcher unter der Wirkung einer Schließfeder (3) in Richtung seines Dichtsitzes gedrückt wird, und daß der Dichtsitz von sich in Schließrichtung konisch verengenden Ventilsitzflächen (4,5) der Anschlußkammerwandung (14) und des Abflußstutzens (16) gebildet ist. <IMAGE>
