For reasons of environmental protection, ink ribbon cartridges have hinged lids in order to be able to exchange the ink ribbon spools after use. In this case, it is necessary to disengage the receiving spool mounted rotatably on a swivel lever from a drivable pin wheel. These rechargeable ink ribbon cartridges have the disadvantage that the ink ribbon can only be wound up without interference if the bearing axle for the receiving spool is arranged perpendicular to the bottom plate of the cartridge. If this is not the case, the ink ribbon is wound up in the form of a bale and the receiving spool on the bearing axle is displaced to the extent that the lid rises. These disadvantages are avoided according to the invention due to the fact that the core (28) of the receiving spool (27) is mounted on the bearing axle (25) with radial play and that the bearing axle (25) has at its free end a blocking projection (32) which is constructed radially on one side and against which a circumferential stop edge (32), which is arranged concentrically to the bearing bore (34) in the core (28) of the receiving spool (27), rests resiliently in the engaged position of the pin wheel (29) with the outer coil of the receiving spool (27) in such a way that displacement of the receiving spool (27) against the lid (5) is blocked when the excess radial play has been pressed out between the bearing axle (25) and the bearing bore (34). Aus Umweltschutzgründen weisen Farbbandkassetten aufklappbare Deckel auf, um die Farbbandspulen nach Verbrauch austauschen zu können. Hierbei ist es erforderlich, daß die auf einem Schwenkhebel drehbar gelagerte Aufnahmespule außer Eingriff mit einem antreibbaren Stachelrad gebracht wird. Diese nachladbaren Farbbandkassetten haben den Nachteil, daß ein störungsfreies Aufwickeln des Farbbandes nur möglich ist, wenn die Lagerachse für die Aufnahmespule senkrecht zur Bodenplatte der Kassette angeordnet ist. Ist dieses nicht der Fall, dann wird das Farbband ballig aufgewickelt und die Aufnahmespule auf der Lagerachse so weit verschoben, daß der Deckel abhebt. Diese Nachteile werden erfindungsgemäß dadurch vermieden, daß der Kern (28) der Aufnahmespule (27) mit Radialspiel auf der Lagerachse (25) gelagert ist und daß die Lagerachse (25) an ihrem freien Ende eine einseitig radial ausgebildete Sperrnase (32) aufweist, gegen welche eine konzentrisch zu der Lagerbohrung (34) in dem Kern (28) der Aufnahmespule (27) angeordnete, umlaufende Anschlagkante (32) in Eingriffstellung des Stachelrades (29) mit dem Außenwickel der Aufnahmespule (27) federnd anliegt, derart, daß nach dem Herausdrücken der Lose des Radialspieles zwischen der Lagerachse (25) und der Lagerbohrung (34) ein Verschieben der Aufnahmespule (27) gegen den Deckel (5) gesperrt wird. Dadurch wird ein störungsfreies Aufwickeln des Farbbandes auch bei kleinen Toleranzschwankungen und Fertigungsungenauigkeiten sicher gewährleistet.
