The screwing device has an elongated housing (1), the front end portion of which forms a boss (2) and the adjoining region of which serves as a magazine (3) for holding a multiplicity of nuts. The nuts are seated on a concentric guide bar (5) in the housing (1), the inner face of which corresponds substantially to the outer face of the nut (4) to be handled. Balls (18) in the front end region of the housing (1) permit the advancing of the frontmost nut into the region of the boss (2) when an outer sleeve (19) and an inner sleeve (14) are pressed together on the workpiece. A central mandrel (26) ensures, in cooperation with a further ball (28), that the second nut in each case remains spaced from the threaded shaft (24) onto which a nut is to be screwed. <IMAGE>

Die Schraubvorrichtung weist ein langgestrecktes Gehäuse (1) auf, dessen vorderer Endabschnitt eine Schraubennuß (2) bildet und dessen anschließender Bereich als Magazin (3) zur Aufnahme einer Vielzahl von Muttern dient. Die Muttern sitzen auf einem konzentrischen Führungsstab (5) in dem Gehäuse (1), dessen Innenfläche im wesentlichen der Außenfläche der zu handhabenden Mutter (4) entspricht. Kugeln (18) im vorderen Endbereich des Gehäuses (1) lassen das Vorrücken der vordersten Mutter in den Bereich der Schraubennuß (2) zu, wenn eine Außenhülse (19) und eine Innenhülse (14) am Werkstück zurückgedrückt sind. Ein zentraler Dorn (26) stellt in Zusammenwirkung mit einer weiteren Kugel (28) sicher, daß die jeweils zweite Mutter von dem Gewindeschaft (24), auf den eine Mutter aufzuschrauben ist, beabstandet bleibt. <IMAGE>
