The invention relates to pliers, in particular pipe, gripping or fitting pliers, having two double-armed levers fixed to one another by slip joints, the shorter arms of which possess gripping jaws for the workpiece, one lever forming, close to the pivot pin on a face turned towards the other lever, limb-like grooves and/or bulges which are concentric with the pivot pin and in which at least one correspondingly shaped bulge and/or groove engages on a facing face of the other lever (groove slip joint), one lever being fitted, in the region of the joint, through a slot in the other lever, so that the lever possessing the slot engages round the other lever on both sides. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Zange, insbesonder Rohr-, Greif- oder Armaturenzange, mit zwei durch Gleitgelenke aneinander befestigten zweiarmigen Hebeln, deren kürzere Arme Greifbacken für das Werkstück aufweisen, wobei ein Hebel nahe der Drehachse auf einer dem anderen Hebel zugewandten Fläche teilkreisförmige zur Drehachse konzentrische Nuten und/oder Wülste bildet, in denen mindestens ein entsprechend geformter Wulst und/oder Nut auf einer zugewandten Fläche des anderen Hebels greift (Rillengleitgelenk), wobei im Bereich des Gelenkes ein Hebel durch einen Schlitz des anderen Hebels hindurchgesteckt ist, so daß der den Schlitz aufweisenden Hebel den anderen Hebel beidseitig umgreift. <IMAGE>
