[origin: EP0448949A2] A spindle for producing a yarn is characterised in that there is arranged in the region of at least one of the two deflection points a tube which is coaxial relative to the hollow shank of the spindle and is displaceable in the axial direction and which is provided with at least one lateral orifice, and in that, on the one hand, a tube-actuating element and, on the other hand, an adjusting device for the member influencing the mode of operation of the spindle and/or the yarn run engages on the tube.
