[origin: EP0449055A2] The subject matter of the invention is a lifting platform for motor vehicles, consisting of at least one lifting prop (1 or 2), which is arranged in a covered pit (4) and to the top end of which supporting elements for the motor vehicle are fastened, of a high-pressure unit (16) for the supply of hydraulic oil to the lifting prop (1 or 2), and of a guide bush (28, 29) for the lifting prop, which guide bush (28, 29) is fastened to a supporting frame anchored in the pit foundation. A central rod (8) fastened to the pit base (3) projects into the lifting prop (1, 2). The rod (8) is sealed off from the bottom end of the lifting prop by an annular seal (26), and the top end face of the rod (8) forms a pressure face. Arranged in the inner wall of each guide bush (28, 29) is at least one lubricating passage (27) which is fluidically connected to the hydraulic-oil return during every lowering stroke of the lifting prop or the lifting platform. <IMAGE>
