The electrical snap-action switch, particularly a microswitch, is provided with a rocker arm (18) which supports contacts, can pivot, rests with its one end against a retaining bearing (17) and, on its other end, engages on a switching spring (19) which pulls the rocker arm against the retaining bearing. In this case, the switch has an operating element (15) which moves parts of the switching spring in order to transfer the rocker arm into its individual switching positions. In order that the operating element can carry out a relatively large movement (excess movement) than is necessary for the actual changeover switching, the operating element, which can move essentially at right angles to the switching spring longitudinal axis, has in its longitudinal direction a recess (23) which in places forms a frame around the switching spring and is bounded essentially by a stop (25, 26) which touches the switching spring in one switching position, in this case the recess is designed to be long in such a manner that the switching spring which is located in the recess is free from the stop in a relatively large movement range of the operating element. <IMAGE>

Der elektrische Schnappschalter, insbesondere Mikroschalter, ist mit einer Kontakte tragenden schwenkbaren Schaltschwinge (18) versehen, die mit ihrem einen Ende an ein Haltelager (17) anliegt und an deren anderen Ende eine Schaltfeder (19) angreift, die die Schaltschwinge an das Haltelager zieht, hierbei weist der Schalter ein Betätigungsglied (15) auf, das Teile der Schaltfeder zur Überführung der Schaltschwinge in ihre einzelnen Schaltstellungen bewegt. Damit das Bet\304tigungsglied eine gr\327\332ere Bewegung (\276berhub) ausf\336hren kann, als es zur eigentlichen Umschaltung erforderlich ist weist das im wesentlichen senkrecht zur Schaltfederlängsachse bewegbare Betätigungsglied in seiner Längsrichtung eine Schaltfeder bereichsweise umrahmende Ausnehmung (23) auf, die wenigstens durch einen die Schaltfeder in einer Schaltstellung berührenden Anschlag (25,26) begrenzt ist, hierbei ist die Ausnehmung derart lang gestaltet, daß in einem größeren Bewegungsbereich des Betätigungsgliedes die in der Ausnehmung liegende Schaltfeder frei von dem Anschlag ist. <IMAGE>
