To this end, two profiled parts (6, 7) are clamped in a groove (12) in the cutter holder (5) by means of a clamping device (30) while the cutter (4) is being held. The diameter of the circle of rotation of the cutter (4) can be adjusted independently of the clamping device (30) by means of a screw adjustment (27). This cutter-clamping system can be used in all cutting machines, such as planes or milling machines, in which cutters must be clamped.
