Edge lining for thin window sills, with a push-on body (10) consisting of plastic, which, with two legs (44,45) which are parallel to one another, forms a receiving slit (14) for a sill edge. In order to prevent moisture reaching the embrasure surface pointing upwards and covered by the window sill (31), the edge lining is designed in such a way that a water drainage channel (23) runs longitudinally in the leg (45) to be located under the sill (31), and this channel has a water outlet at the front end of the lining. <IMAGE>

Kantenbekleidung für dünne Fensterbänke, mit einem aus Kunststoff bestehenden Aufsteckkörper (10), der mit zwei einander parallelen Schenkeln (44,45) einen Aufnahmeschlitz (14) für eine Bankkante bildet. Um zu verhindern, daß auf die nach oben weisende, von der Fensterbank (31) abgedeckte Fensterlaibungsfläche Feuchtigkeit gelangen kann, ist die Kantenbekleidung so ausgebildet, daß in dem unter der Bank (31) anzuordnenden Schenkel (45) ein längs durchlaufender Wasserablaufkanal (23) vorhanden ist, der am Vorderende der Bekleidung einen Wasserauslauf aufweist. <IMAGE>
